Construction continues on the newest addition to the complement of Community Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Stations in Prince George’s County. St. Joseph’s Community Fire/EMS Station #806 is on schedule for a Grand Opening during the summer of 2010.
The new Fire/EMS Station is located on St. Josephs Drive and Ardwick-Ardmore Road in Springdale near Flowers High School. The location will enable the Department to meet demand for services and improve response time capabilities in the growing community and surrounding area.
The station design is nearly identical to our recently opened District Heights Fire/EMS Station #826 and Northview Fire/EMS Station #816; however, the St. Josephs Fire/EMS Station #806 is going to be larger to accommodate special equipment, apparatus and supplies.
