Serious MVC in Laurel

At about 9:00 am firefighters and paramedics in Laurel were alerted to a motor vehicle crash in a normally quiet residential community. Firefighter/Medics arrived in the 8300 block of Montpelier Drive and found several people injured. An approximately 6 month old infant has sustained life-threatening traumatic injuries and medics are currently performing CPR and tending to the injuries to save the infants life.

Two additional patients; an adult female and a 3 year old child are also being transported to trauma centers for their injuries.

County Police are en route and will provide additional information later today.
