State of Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, County Executive Rushern Baker and a host of other elected and civic leaders are scheduled to face the hottest issue of their careers on Friday. We have made arrangements for you to have a front row seat.
The Prince George’s County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association/International Association of Firefighters Local 1619, in conjunction with the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department and the University of Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute will provide media an opportunity to watch as the Lt. Governor Brown, County Executive Baker, County Council members and others experience what it is like to be a firefighter for the day. Observe them learn how to don firefighters personal protective equipment, breath air from a bottle and protect themselves against injury as they extinguish a fire.
