Occupant Sustained Critical Burn Injuries

An adult male sustained critical burn injuries this morning at a house in Allentown.  A group home caregiver was alerted by an activated smoke alarm in the basement of the house in 2800 block of Cricklewood Drive.  The caretaker notified the fire department after finding the injured man.

Firefighter/Medics arrived and tended to an adult male, in his 60's, that had sustained critical life threatening burn injuries.  He was treated and transported to a Burn Unit in critical conditions.

The incident is currently under investigation by Fire Investigators from the Fire/EMS Department's Office of the Fire Marshal.
