Prince George’s County Firefighter/Medics and the Department’s Technical Rescue Team were alerted to a rescue at Cosca Regional Park in Clinton. With over 690 acres located in southern Prince George's County, Cosca Regional Park features both natural, undeveloped areas and land that has been developed for recreational use. The park is located in the 11000 block of Thrift Road.

Fire/EMS units arrived just before 12:00 noon and discovered that Cosca Lake has been mostly drained and a male has become trapped in deep mud up to his waist.
