As a way to pay tribute and "Never Forget" the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, Prince George's County Public Safety Communications will broadcast a synopsis of significant events at the time they occurred that fateful day. These broadcasts will be made over the Fire/EMS Departments main dispatch channel.
If you are in the National Capital Region you can hear the broadcasts by monitoring frequency 155.685. You can also listen on your computer by going to RadioReference.com.
The first broadcast will occur, barring an actual emergency, at 8:46 am and continue throughout the morning.
All Fire/EMS personnel will be asked to take a moment of silence after each transmission.
