The Volunteer Fire Department of Brandywine, Maryland Inc. will host our Third Annual Fire Prevention & Life Safety Open House this Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at the fire station.
Schedule of Events;
11:00AM to 11:30AM: Opening Ceremonies by Fire Prevention Chairman Brian Clements and President Kenneth Rose, Sr., Smoke Alarm Demonstration, Tours of the Fire Station & Fire/EMS Apparatus, Surrounding fire departments will also provide fire & emergency medical service apparatus for displays.
11:30AM to 12:00PM: Sparky the Fire Dog Appearance, Meet the Firefighter, Stop, Drop and Roll evolution,
12:00PM to 12:30PM: Lunch provided by local restaurants
12:30PM to 1:30PM: Auto Extrication and EMS Demonstration by Brandywine's volunteer and career firefighters
1:30PM to 2:00PM: Coloring Book Contest
2:00PM to 2:30PM: Second Sparky the Fire Dog and Meet the Firefighter Appearance
2:30PM to 3:00PM: Awards for Coloring Book Contest, Closing Ceremonies
We will also be selling tickets for our First Annual Crab & Shrimp Feast, to be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. Membership Recruitment Seminars, plenty of games and coloring pages for small children and Admission is free. Donations will be accepted for new Fire/EMS Apparatus, Station Supplies and Equipment.
