Bowie Girl Scout Troop 413 visited their "Hometown Heroes" today and delivered their sweet rewards by the case. Firefighter/Medics at the Northview Community Fire/EMS Station 816 greeted a dozen girl scouts and their adult chaperone's this afternoon with the girls arriving with each delivering a case of their famous cookies to the troops designated heroes. Fire Chief Marc Bashoor, Deputy Fire Chief Ben Barksdale and a host of command officers joined personnel in accepting the gifts and participating in a tour of the apparatus and station.
Fire/EMS personnel thanked Girl Scout Troop 413 for honoring them with the designation and invited the girls to return and visit at any time.
