County Council Reviews New Fire/EMS Department Apparatus

The Prince George’s County Council Committee on Public Safety and Fiscal Management, (PSFM), chaired by Council Member Karen Toles, Council Chair Andrea Harrison, and participating Council Members, in cooperation with Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Public Safety Barry Stanton and Fire Chief Marc Bashoor, held a press conference on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. on the outside (pond side) of the County Administration Building, 14741 Gov. Oden Bowie Drive, Upper Marlboro.  The event highlighted several new and recently acquired Fire/EMS Department apparatus, made possible by appropriations in the current County Budget and representing three consecutive years of significant funding for Fire/EMS apparatus supported by the County Council.  The press event also featured a photo, tour, and demonstration opportunity of the apparatus for the media.
