Dominos Pizza Partner with PGFD to Deliver Fire Safety

MEDIA CONTACT: Paul Gomez, Assitant Fire Chief, 240-508-6583

It's Fire Prevention Week and Dominos Pizza and the Prince George's County Fire/Emergency Medical Services (EMS)  Department are partnering to help ensure residents are protected by a working smoke alarm and be eligible for a free pizza.

It's so simple.  Have a working smoke alarm in your home.  If you live in one of the following areas call and order your pizza and wait.  If a piece of fire apparatus shows up to deliver your pizza and you have a working smoke alarm, as determined by a firefighter, your pizza is free.  If your smoke alarm is determined to be non-working, you will pay for your pizza, however, firefighters will install a new 10-year, tamper proof, with hush feature smoke alarm, free of charge.

Everyone is a winner.  Here is a list of participating Dominos with the dates and times of our challenge.

Tuesday, October 7: 4646 New Carrollton 2-5pm
Wednesday, October 8: 4653 Forestville 2-5pm
Saturday, October 11: 4658 Greenbelt 2-5pm
Test your alarms to make sure they are working and if one of the above listed Dominos is one that delivers to your house, call them on the date and times listed and wait to see if a fire engine arrives to deliver your pizza!!!  Good Luck!!!
