The Fire/EMS Department’s Technical Rescue Team was utilized to shore up a structure after significant damage was caused by a vehicle. At about 8:45 am, Wednesday, August 4, 2010, Technical Rescue Units from Tuxedo-Cheverly and Fort Washington Fire/EMS Stations proceeded to Central Avenue and Bayou Avenue in Capitol Heights at the request of a County Building Inspector. A vehicle that was involved in criminal activity had left the roadway and damaged the home.
