Early Morning Critical Injuries at National Harbor

At approximately 2:30 am, Saturday, January 01, 2011, fire & EMS units were dispatched for an injured person at the 200 block of Waterfront Street of the National Harbor in Fort Washington Maryland for a report of an injured female.

Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics discovered an adult female with injuries normally associated from a high fall.

Per eyewitnesses, the adult female fell/jumped from a mezzanine level of one of the buildings.

EMS personnel quickly provided advanced life support care and transported the female patient with extremely critical injuries to an area hospital in extremely critical, life-threatening injuries.

There were 4 fire & EMS units with 9 firefighters and paramedics who supported this incident. The incident is currently under investigation by the Prince George's Police Department.
