A tragic early morning fire on New Year’s Day claimed the life of a Temple Hills man. Prince George’s County Acting Fire Chief Marc S. Bashoor will release new details on the investigation of this incident as well as announcing a community-based effort to ensure everyone is afforded the protection of a working smoke alarm. Chief Bashoor will announce the details of the investigation and his compelling reason for stepping up efforts working smoke alarms at a press conference.
