The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Departments Hazardous Materials Team is investigating two 55 gallons drums containing an unknown product. Firefighters were dispatched at around 3:30 pm to investigate the drums that appear to have been illegally discarded in the 5300 block of Henson Drive in Temple Hills. This is a residential area, however, there is no need for evacuations at this time. No injuries have been reported.
The haz-mat team is reporting an acetone type odor in the area of the drums; however, identification of the product remains unknown.
There is no additional information at this time.
