A fire reported at around 5:15 am, Monday, April 30, caused significant damage to a 1-1/2 story commercial building. Firefighters from the Oxon Hill/Fort Washington area responded to a commercial building in the 7400 block of Livingston Road and arrived to find fire showing from the rear of the building. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished.
The fire cause and origin remain under investigation with an estimated fire loss of $50,000. No injuries were reported.
