Frank Colea Benevolent Fund Golf Tournament

Frank Colea Benevolent Fund Golf Tournament
Mark E. Brady

One of my favorite events of the year to attend is the annual Frank Colea Benevolent Fund Golf Tournament.  It is a great opportunity to greet many retired and current members of the Department at an event to remember and honor one of the very best; Frank Colea.  This year I was able to enjoy the day even more as I golfed (hacked) thanks to the gracious invitation of the Wiseman family.

The Golf Tournament is held each year by the Prince George's County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association, International Association of Firefighters Local 1619.  Tournament Director Tom Breen said, "The 18th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Colea Benevolent Fund was played Monday, June 11, at the Bowie Golf Course. The event was a great success, with 109 golfers participating. Many thanks to all who played, sponsored and worked the event."

Congratulations to Local1619, Tom Breen and his many helpers and to all the participants, it was great to see you!!!
