Community Association Plants Garden at Fire/EMS Station

Next time you drive down Roanoke Avenue past our (Riverdale Heights) firehouse take a moment to look at the newly created gardens!   It was a pleasure working to improve the grounds of RHVFD; made us all proud!   Not only did we create beautiful gardens, but the garden above the parking lot was strategically placed to absorb water from the underground spring.  You may notice the banner that proudly announces that our community association is responsible for coordinating the work (thanks for the banner, Beth!).   Look for our new flagpole soon that will display American and Maryland flags.  Once installed, we will plan a small ceremony as we raise the flags for the first time.
