Assistant Chief George is Publications "Hero of the Heat Wave"
The article mentioned programs put into place when weather conditions became unhealthy. Detailed were the hourly radio transmissions highlighting heat stress watches for emergency personnel, heat stress tip sheets distributed department wide, air quality alerts and the constant reminders that hydration before and during periods of high temperatures and humidity is vital to staying healthy.
Congratulations Assistant Chief George and thank you for all you do!!!
