Bladensburg Volunteers Offer $10,000 Reward for Arson Fire Info

The Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc. is upping the ante in finding the person(s) responsible for an Arson fire that injured seven firefighters in February 2012..  Two of the injured seven were critically injured and were members at Bladensburg.  Prince George's County Arson Investigators have received good leads and tips but still need more help from the community to close this case with an arrest.  Crime Solvers has offered a $1,000 reward and a separate reward from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that posted a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for setting a fire in a vacant house in the 6400 block of 57th Avenue in Riverdale Heights.

Volunteer Chief Randy S. Kuenzli at Bladensburg spoke on behalf of the membership in announcing the reward of up to  $10,000.  The reward is available for up to one year.  Members of the community are asked to call 301-77-ARSON (301-772-7766) and provide any information about who set this fire.

The details of the Bladensburg reward can be seen in this document released by the volunteers on Monday, June 3, 2013.
