Recruit Firefighters to Make Traditional Run Across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge

Career Recruit School 48 will run across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on Friday morning.  This has become a part of their physical training and a part of tradition as several of the past recruit classes made the same trip just prior to graduation.  CRS #48 is scheduled to graduate in early December.  The 43 members of CRS 48 will be joined by Fire Chief Marc S. Bashoor as well as staff and instructors from the Fire/EMS Department Training Academy.

The group will gather at 7:00 am on the jogging path that runs from the National Harbor through a park across and on to the pedestrian area that parallels the WWB into Virginia and turn around.

The best access for media is to park at the gas station on National Harbor Boulevard and follow the gravel path down to the jogging path.
