A playground destroyed by arson earlier this year has new life today.  Members of the Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics Players and Alumni, Temple Hills Students and Prince George's County Firefighter/Medics helped to re-build the Playground at Imagine Lincoln School in the 4200 block of Norcross Street in Temple Hills.  On Thursday, a large contingent of stakeholders gathered to rebuild what was destroyed depriving residents within the community an opportunity to have a place to play and gather. The playground design is based on children's drawings created at a special design event held earlier in the year.

Firefighters joined in this community event and helped in whatever way possible and enjoyed the interaction with all the volunteer workers.  Firefighters from Silver Hill, District Heights and the Oxon Hill Fire/EMS Stations participated in this event.
