DC Firefighters Burn Foundation Fundraising

The D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation is the leading organization in the Washington D.C. metro area supporting burn prevention efforts and improving the quality of life for burn survivors. Founded by active and retired Washington D.C.firefighters, the Foundation is dedicated to assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn survivors through burn research, treatment and rehabilitation programs and is the only such program in the D.C. metro area.

But we need your help so we can continue to support and provide education, treatment and recovery for local burn survivors.

Watch this video to learn a bit more about the Foundation and to meet several D.C. burn survivors who have benefited from the Foundation.

The Foundation is kicking off its first official fundraising campaign and plans to raise $50,000 between September 15th and November 15th. Funds will go to purchasing much-needed equipment for the new pediatric burn unit at Children's National Medical Center.

Please support us by donating and sharing this news with your friends, family and neighbors! Donations are accepted through our website at: http://www.dcffburnfoundation.org
